Ingredients
- Roasted pumpkin 500 g
- Whole milk 300 ml
- 3 medium eggs
- Sugar 75 g
- Liquid caramel
- Crushed cookie
- Butter
Step by step instructions for roasted pumpkin flan recipe
Step 1
Crush the cookie and knead it with butter. Toast it in the oven and set aside.
Step 2
Heat the oven to 180º and roast half a roteña pumpkin or peanut.
Step 3
Once roasted and cooled, scrape the roasted pulp and grind it with a blender.
Step 4
Add the milk, eggs and sugar. Beat more.
Step 5
Stir in the caramel and fill the custard cups without going all the way to the top.
Step 6
Place the jars in a pan with water in a bain-marie. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 180º.
Step 7
Allow to cool and serve with the toasted cookie crumbs.
