WHAT IS PREPARED FRUIT?
FRUTIFRESH by Peris is a collection of fruits such as pineapple, orange, grapefruit, grapefruit, grape, apple, papaya or peach. All fruits do not admit the syrup bath with the same quality, so there are fruits that we cannot offer. Thanks to the preserving capacity of sugar, we can offer a delicious fruit experience that lasts longer than the usual fruit cut in tubs.
HOW DO WE MAKE THE PREPARED FRUIT?
The fruit is cut fresh and bathed in syrup to achieve a 15-day shelf life, always at 4º C. The contact with the syrup balances the acids and regulates the bitter values, improving the overall flavor of the fruit.
WHERE DO WE PRODUCE IT?
FRUTIFRESH by Peris applies for the certificate
IFS Food
. All its products are manufactured in a state-of-the-art clean room, where rigorous sanitary and hygienic conditions are maintained. It meets almost the same conditions as a pharmaceutical laboratory. These demanding conditions are not maintained in the handling operations carried out in stores, backrooms and warehouses.
CAN I DRINK THE LIQUID?
By nutritional recommendation, excessive sugar consumption should be avoided. Therefore, we do not recommend drinking a large amount of syrup, beyond that which may accumulate when the fruit is served. It can be used for cooking, baking, or discarded.
HOW MANY CALORIES DOES THE PREPARED FRUIT HAVE?
Our calorie comparisons between fresh fruit and prepared fresh fruit give us variations of no more than 10 Kcal difference between both presentations, depending on the fruit.
HOW MANY SERVINGS DOES EACH TUB CONTAIN?
If we establish an average fruit serving of 150 g, we can say that each tub contains between 2 and 3 servings, not counting the liquid in the preparation. We can serve it all together or open it, serve what we want and keep it in the refrigerator for later consumption.
IS THE TUB RECYCLABLE?
Yes, the jar is made of polypropylene, a material that you can dispose of in the yellow garbage can as long as you do not decide to recycle the jar for other uses in the kitchen or home.
