The Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness has awarded VICENTE PERIS S.A. the Innovative SME seal. A public recognition that values the commitment to innovation in production activities related to fruits and vegetables of I, IV and V Range that we have been doing for four years. In recent years, the company has developed numerous innovative projects financed or subsidized by the Ministry and the Autonomous Communities. The common denominator of these projects has been the innovation and development of solutions to improve the preservation of fruit in cold environments and the use of gases as the basis for preserving fresh fruit preparations. Order ECC/1807/2015 regulates the issuance of the seal as well as the creation of the Registry of Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprises under the General Directorate for Innovation and Competitiveness of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. PERIS is one of the Spanish companies in the sector that devotes more effort to research and development, with a permanent commitment to innovation to develop new products and solutions linked to all stages of the life of fruits and vegetables from the field, handling in clean room and conservation with gas technologies to its presentation to the consumer in formats of IV and V Range without thermal manipulation.
